The Ladies Study Group gathered on a rain-washed July afternoon at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity, to listen to Koel Rinchet Purie who spoke with effervescence of her many interests and took us through her journey from Delhi to Paris, where she now lives as a wife and mother as she continues to pursue her passions of being an actor and a writer.
An enjoyable intimate afternoon at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity with the members of the Ladies Study Group saw this actress, producer, TV presenter and most recently author talk about a range of topics with candid honesty and admirable resolve. Punctuated with her infectious laughter she spoke frankly of how she had to start afresh in a new city, cultural differences in India & Paris and what it means to be an author.
