LSG felicitated Yash Chopra, one of the most powerful people of the hindi film fraternity and representative of the industry to the wider world, for his outstanding contribution to Hindi Cinema.
The annual award ceremony was the first programme in the new year. It was also the most important event of the LSG calendar. This year’s award was given to The Oral School for Deaf Children for the highly commendable work in caring for and rehabilitating speech and hearing impaired children.
The Ladies Study Group Charitable Trust Annual Award for the year 2007 was presented to Navanir - A Home for the Aged. The home has been doing commendable work with regard to caring for the senior citizens of our city.
