It is with profound pride and gratitude that I assume the role of President, Ladies Study Group for the term 2024-25.
Over the past decade, Ladies Study Group has transcended its role as an organisation in my life; it has been a cornerstone, shaping my personal and professional journey.
I am delighted to unveil the theme for my presidency: "The Power of Now." Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Eckhart Tolle, this theme underscores the paramount importance of mindfulness and embracing the present moment. It serves as an invitation for us to unite, fostering a culture of unity, inclusivity, and collaboration that transcends boundaries. In an era defined by rapid change, prioritising the present moment equips us with a powerful tool for both individual and collective growth.
As we embark on this journey, my committee and I pledge to curate a diverse array of events designed to engage and inspire each member of our esteemed organisation.
Rest assured, I remain open and receptive to feedback, ideas, and suggestions from the advisory, governing body, committee and members, while steadfastly upholding the core values that define our organisation.
I am genuinely enthusiastic about the enriching experiences and invaluable insights that lie ahead for us in the forthcoming year. Leading and learning in the company of each of you is both a privilege and an honour.
